I work to a very high standard and use only the best ingredients for all my freshly made cakes. They contain no additives or preservatives. I can make Sponge, Madeira, Lemon, Chocolate, Fruit or cakes with a variety of fillings.
Fruit cakes need to be made well in advance to allow time for the cake to mature, so place your order at least 6 months earlier. My fruit cakes are all soaked in brandy making them deliciously moist and rich in flavour. When matured, they are covered with marzipan and sugarpaste or royal icing according to your preference.
Sponge and chocolate cakes are baked fresh as and when required. Most sponge cakes consist of jam and butter cream filling flavoured with vanilla, coffee, orange, lemon or chocolate.
All my cupcakes and cookies are unique. A minimum order of 12 cupcakes/cookies is required. Prices will depend on the size, design and the quantities ordered. I do not make gluten, dairy or nut free cake. Although, sponge and chocolate cakes do not have nuts as an ingredient, they may contain traces of nuts.
Depending on the workload, a minimum 1-2 weeks notice is required for birthdays and other celebration cakes, although late orders will be considered. Wedding cakes require at least 1 month’s notice. More time is required for bigger and complicated designs. Please book well in advance, as orders will be accepted on first come first serve basis.
