About me

I have twenty years experience of cake making and decoration, having completed 7900 Art and Design course. I trained at the prestigious Brooklands College in Weybridge with distinctions in cake decoration, royal icing and wired sugar flowers.

I won the 2006 Green Guardian award and made a centrepiece for their display, featuring the world and various multicultural figures around it. The lettering on the top of the cake stated, 'Let's face the green challenge together'. This cake was featured in a Cake Craft and Decoration magazine. See the gallery for the pictures

I have appeared in 'Cook the books' television programme with my unique designed cake. At the Annual Bakery Competition held in Torquay, I received two silver awards and certificates for both my sugarpaste and royal iced cakes. At the Salon Culinaire competition 2010, I was awarded Gold, Best in Show, and Best in Sugarcraft Category for the Royal Iced Indian Wedding Cake. I am a member of the British Sugarcraft Guild.
